The play will be presented on Saturday, April 11th, at 9:00 pm. The Estepona City Council has announced that on the mentioned date and time, the Teatro Auditorio Felipe VI will host the performance of ‘Don’t Touch My Tale’, a comedic and musical rebellion featuring four princesses. We are all familiar with the princesses from children’s stories – always beautiful, cheerful, and kind, and of course, skilled in singing. But do we truly know the lives of these princesses? Do we understand what their fairy tales meant to them and what happened afterwards? ‘Don’t Touch My Tale’ reveals the other side of ‘happily ever after’, showcasing how four princesses rebel and demand to share the untold side of their stories. The musical comedy provides a realistic portrayal of Snow White, Cinderella, Belle, and Aurora, who come together post-‘happily ever after’ to express their grievances, laughter, and tears about the pain and traumas that were left untold. Written and directed by Olivia Lara, the play aims to humanize these princesses and break the idealistic image, engaging with the audience and breaking the fourth wall. Tickets can be purchased at teatroestepona.com or at the Auditorium box office on the day of the performance, starting two hours before the show.
