The program recently launched by the Estepona City Council, known as the ‘Comprehensive Projects for Job Placement’, aims to enhance employability and facilitate entry into the job market for a specific group: individuals aged 52 and over who have been unemployed for an extended period. Unlike conventional training programs, these Comprehensive Projects provide personalized guidance and full support throughout the job search process. Each participant’s itinerary includes: detailed profiling and career guidance, skills development or retraining tailored to current market needs, job search strategies, direct links to local companies seeking specific profiles, psychosocial assistance, and ongoing support to ensure successful employment integration. To qualify for participation, individuals must be at least 52 years old, unemployed, and registered with the Andalusian Employment Service (SAE) for a minimum of one year within the past 18 months. Interested individuals who meet these criteria can obtain more information and submit their contact details via email at bpartal@estepona.es or by calling 952 80 90 90 00 extension 1416. This initiative is a joint effort involving the Ministry of Employment, Enterprise and Self-Employment of the Regional Government of Andalusia, and the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy in collaboration with the SEPE.
