From April 1 to 19, 2026, photographers have the opportunity to showcase their creativity in Estepona’s ‘V Contest ‘Bookface’. This initiative by the municipal delegation of Culture aims to encourage the combination of photography and literature, challenging participants to align a book cover with a person’s face or body. Residents of Estepona, regardless of age, are welcome to submit up to two original photographs in JPG or PNG format with a minimum resolution of 1,920 X 1,080 pixels. Entries must be sent to admbiblioteca@estepona.es along with the participant’s name, age, contact information, and parental authorization for minors. Images that infringe upon privacy rights or show disrespect towards religious beliefs or sexual orientation will be disqualified. The jury will award prizes of 150 €, 100 €, and 50 € to the top three entries based on creativity, technique, and originality. Winners will be announced on April 23rd, International Book Day, with a selection of photographs displayed at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center.
