A total of 20 submissions were received for this competition, which celebrates the fusion of art with book covers. Estepona’s mayor, José María García Urbano, presented the awards today on International Book Day to the winners of the ‘V Contest ‘Bookface’, organized by the City Council to encourage creativity and reading habits through the combination of photography and literature. The competition, featuring twenty entries, recognized images that blend book covers with a person’s face or body to create a unique visual composition. The judging panel, consisting of members from the municipal Culture delegation, selected the top three photos based on creativity, technique, and originality: 1st Prize, €150: Amani Aldihni Garcia 2nd Prize, €100: Benjamín Virasoro 3rd Prize, €50: Andrea Sierra Villalba. A display of some of the contest entries will be showcased temporarily at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center.
