The exhibition titled “I love you because…” will be on display at Room 2 of Casa de Las Tejerinas in Plaza de las Flores from April 30 to May 13. Anissa Mendez, the American artist residing in Estepona, presents a collection that expands the Masters of Energy series. Her vibrant forms and characters delve into themes like vibrational frequency, emotional awareness, and the invisible forces shaping human experiences. Central to the exhibit is her belief in love as the driving energy of existence. Through color, form, play, and imagination, Anissa demonstrates how love, as a creative force, elevates vibrational frequencies, leading to a more joyful and expansive life. Drawing inspiration from metaphysical sciences and quantum theories, along with her practice as a certified Quantum Hypnosis Healing Technique (QHHT) ‘facilitator’, Anissa creates immersive pieces that prompt viewers to explore their potential and self-awareness. With a traveling exhibition in progress, she aims to connect with diverse audiences, particularly children, by showcasing creativity as a potent force for transformation and connection. The exhibition is open for visits until May 13, from Tuesday to Friday, 9:00 am to 8:00 pm, and Saturdays from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm and 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with free admission. Anissa Mendez, an international artist, educator, and author, delves into the realms of creativity, energy, and human consciousness in her work. With a background in New York City’s art scene, she has exhibited in notable venues like West Broadway, Chelsea, and the Hamptons, receiving corporate commissions such as Johnnie Walker Black that marked a significant milestone in her artistic journey. Her intuitive creations have found homes in collections worldwide, solidifying her global presence. An arts educator for over 27 years in New York and Las Vegas, Anissa has been involved in public art projects like Cow Parade Las Vegas and the NYC Wooden-Figure Community Project, advocating for inclusive, engaging, and community-driven art. She now owns and drives creative endeavors at The Boab Tree Art Gallery and Studio in Estepona, continuing her dedication to artistry, exhibition, and cultivating a vibrant artistic community.
