The Estepona City Council has announced that renowned Malaga artist Leo Peralta will be conducting the workshop ‘Exploring the Depths’ this Saturday, May 23, at the Mirador del Carmen Cultural Center. During the workshop, participants will explore techniques such as painting, drawing, and collage. Limited spots are available for this free workshop, so interested individuals must register by emailing bcc@estepona.es. Born in 1976, Leo Peralta is known for his diverse artistic talents. His portfolio includes creating visuals for Fangoria’s tours, designing for Adidas campaigns, and illustrating books by Mario Vaquerizo. Peralta’s works have been showcased in prestigious galleries and museums like the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Malaga and the Fresh Gallery in Madrid. He has also collaborated with cultural institutions like the Pompidou Museum in Malaga. Peralta’s art is characterized by a vibrant and melancholic pop aesthetic, blending elements of television, music, cinema, and fashion to bridge the gap between past, present, and future.
