The Casa de Las Tejerinas will be the venue for the unveiling of Maite Medina’s first poetry book ‘The Essence Within Me’ on Thursday at 6:30 p.m. The collection is filled with inspiring stories and impactful words that reflect the author’s innermost thoughts. Published by Ediciones Sakana, the poems in ‘The Essence Within Me’ showcase Maite Medina’s quest for authenticity and self-discovery. Originally from Malaga, Maite Medina has always called Estepona home. With a degree in Romance Philology from the University of Granada, she has a background in teaching Spanish as a foreign language and has contributed to various poetry anthologies. Her passion for literature drives her to write about a wide range of emotions and experiences, from sadness and loneliness to joy and love.
