The next phase of the air conditioning plan in Estepona schools will involve the installation of fifty new cooling and heating systems, adding to the existing units. The total investment for this project amounts to 130,000 euros. Maria Aguilar, the councilor responsible for Education, announced that this initiative builds upon the improvements initiated last summer, when fifty units were already installed in various schools across the city. The previous phase required an investment of 60,000 euros for the purchase and installation of the machinery, resulting in a more comfortable learning environment for students and staff. With a combined investment of 230,000 euros from the City Council and the Junta de Andalucía, the goal is to significantly enhance the air conditioning systems in public schools throughout Estepona. This development marks a crucial advancement in the enhancement of educational facilities, ensuring optimal thermal conditions for all occupants year-round.
