Born in Málaga in 1986, Juan Antonio Pérez Rivas sees himself as a global citizen, blending his deep Andalusian heritage with a universal mindset. He holds a degree in Philosophy from the University of Málaga, where he also obtained a Master’s in Teaching. His passion for writing emerged early, and he was known for his talent in improvising narratives, acknowledged by his inner circle. His writing spans various genres like thrillers, horror, suspense, erotic and historical fiction, but he has a soft spot for science fiction, fantasy, and humor, defining his style as eclectic or ‘a literary sofrito.’ He honed his craft at the esteemed Escuela de Escritores, with his fantasy tale ‘El guateque de las aves’ featured in the anthology ‘El verdadero nombre de las cosas.’ Furthermore, Diversidad Literaria has published several of his micro-stories in collections like *Microdragones*, *Luz de luna*, *Microfantasías*, *Crónicas vampíricas*, and *Entre plumas y letras*.
