Construction work on two additional paddle tennis courts in the Nueva Atalaya neighborhood, located on the outskirts of Estepona, is moving forward as reported by the local City Council. The construction work has reached a milestone with the completion of the esplanade, featuring a compacted gravel subbase. Currently, the focus is on installing conduits around the perimeter for the lighting and irrigation systems. The next steps involve reinforcing the slab foundation and scheduling concrete pouring for the following week, followed by the construction of the court’s perimeter. Spanning approximately 400 square meters, these new courts will complement the existing sports facilities, providing more space for padel enthusiasts in Estepona. With a budget of 124,503.57 euros, this project not only expands sports options but also revitalizes the area and promotes social integration through sports.
