Scheduled for July 25 at Mirador del Carmen, the charity gala aims to raise funds for a future residence for individuals with severe disabilities and independent living apartments. Estepona City Council is once again teaming up with APRONA Foundation to organize the eleventh edition of the event. Councilwoman María Aguilar, along with Carlos Barrientos and social worker Laura Benítez, presented the gala today. The evening, set to start at 8:30 p.m., will include various performances and activities for a charitable night out with loved ones. Notable acts such as Compás Flamenco and Sótano Sur will entertain guests, while a food and beverage stand will offer affordable snacks and drinks. Attendees can enjoy ham, cheese, mojitos, and wine at themed stands, with payment accepted in cash only. The event will also feature a DJ, face painting for children, and a white dress code. The primary objective is to raise funds for APRONA’s project in Estepona, which includes a residence for individuals with severe disabilities and independent living units. Thanks to past donations, the organization has covered initial project costs like site surveys, blueprints, permits, and construction expenses. Councilwoman María Aguilar stressed the importance of community involvement, stating that local participation is crucial for advancing this significant social resource for Estepona and its vicinity. Tickets are available for 7 euros in advance and 8 euros at the door, sold at APRONA Foundation, APRONA-managed parking lots, and APRONA store on Calle Santa Ana.
