The upcoming application deadline and necessary criteria will soon be posted on the official website of www.fundacionaguerrero.com. In its latest session, the Antonia Guerrero Díaz Foundation gave the green light to the criteria for granting scholarships, both for the upcoming academic year and for English language courses in the 2026–2027 academic year. José María García Urbano, the president of the Board of Trustees of the Antonia Guerrero Foundation and mayor of Estepona, along with the Foundation’s secretary, Ignacio Pérez de Vargas, highlighted that these scholarships aim to support students from Estepona with financial aid for their first year of college, covering tuition fees and transportation costs. Additionally, the English language scholarships target unemployed individuals in need of language training. Furthermore, discussions during the meeting included agreements on the donations made by the Antonia Guerrero Foundation to the Foundation for People with Functional Diversity in Estepona (APRONA) and the Association of Families of Alzheimer’s Patients in Estepona, both organizations playing a vital role in the city’s social fabric.
