A project is currently underway to enhance the image of the Exhibition and Convention Center by installing a new illuminated sign on the building’s roof. The sign will feature illuminated three-dimensional letters spelling out the center’s name and the official coat of arms of Estepona, making it easily identifiable from various points in the surrounding area. The letters, made of AISI 316 stainless steel, are being installed along with a high-efficiency LED lighting system. A control unit will allow for different lighting effects to adapt to different events. The new sign, measuring 34 meters in length, will be a distinctive landmark visible from afar. The project also includes a galvanized metal structure for safety and stability, with a total cost of 41,244 euros. This initiative is part of the City Council’s efforts to improve the center’s facilities and overall image, as it continues to host a variety of conferences, trade shows, exhibitions, and cultural events. Recent maintenance projects have also been carried out to enhance the building’s exterior and interior, ensuring its longevity and functionality.
