The traditional distribution of carnations was carried out by the queens and ladies of the Fair and Annual Festivals, along with the presentation of the ‘Honorary Tourist 2026’ award. A new addition this year was a complimentary yoga session set to live flamenco guitar music. Estepona’s City Council organized Tourist Day to express gratitude to the tourists who have once again selected our city for their vacations. Festivities kicked off at 9:00 a.m. on the Paseo Marítimo with a free yoga session accompanied by live flamenco guitar music, aiming to promote well-being and a healthy lifestyle among residents. The ‘Honorary Tourist 2026’ award was bestowed upon Pedro Javier Rodríguez Pérez and Paula Medina Denja, recognizing their long-standing connection to our city. Furthermore, the queens and ladies handed out carnations to tourists in central areas like Real and Terraza streets, Las Flores and Doctor Arce squares, and the Paseo Marítimo as a gesture of appreciation. An outdoor information booth has been set up near the Tourist Office (Plaza de las Flores), where tourists can receive brochures in multiple languages, showcasing Estepona’s diverse cultural, sports, and leisure activities.
