The project will involve the grading and paving of an area of around 300 square meters once the existing embankment has been cleared. Estepona City Council has announced plans to create about fifteen new free parking spaces next to the bus station. This initiative forms part of a project that will repurpose and develop an area currently taken up by a slope. The first step will be to remove the existing embankment to make room for the upcoming parking spaces. Following this, curbs will be set up, the ground will be leveled and primed, and the entire area will be paved. The project will span an area of approximately 300 square meters, which will be fully utilized and paved, enhancing both the environment of the space and its connection to the bus station surroundings. In addition to this project, recent road surface maintenance was carried out on Jesús de Polanco Avenue to ensure improved safety and comfort for drivers and road users. Through this project, the City Council continues to advance in the creation of new free parking spaces and the optimization of public spaces to enhance mobility and provide easier parking options for residents and visitors in the area. This initiative adds to other actions promoted by the City Council to expand parking availability at various locations across the city. Specifically, in the Sierra Estepona area—on Alejo Carpentier, Pilar Bardem, and Miguel Clavijo streets—98 new parking spaces will be established following the area’s reorganization.
