Approximately 900,000 euros will be allocated by the City Council for the renovation of beach facilities, including restrooms and lifeguard stations, as well as the installation of concrete walkways at all public access points. Deputy Mayor for Services and External Oversight, Blas Ruzafa, has announced plans for a major overhaul of these facilities in the coming months. Bids have been issued for the supply and installation of lifeguard and restroom modules, as well as a storage module, to be distributed across various beaches. The new facilities will improve monitoring, emergency response, and accessibility, with restrooms equipped for people with reduced mobility. Additionally, prefabricated concrete walkways will be installed at public access points, replacing wooden walkways and enhancing year-round accessibility. These improvements aim to modernize coastal facilities and enhance services for residents and visitors.
