Premiere of the Sinfonietta ‘Estepona, the City of Flowers’ by Hugo Chinesta

The Sinfonietta ‘Estepona, the City of Flowers’, composed by Hugo Chinesta, winner of the IV International Composition Competition for Symphonic Band, will be performed by the Municipal Band of Estepona under the direction of the composer himself. The concert will take place on Saturday, March 15 at the Felipe VI Auditorium. Invitations can be obtained at the Padre Manuel Cultural Center starting from Monday 10. The work is a musical journey through the urban garden of Estepona, conveying sensations of color, touch, fragrance, and taste. The Composition Competition for Symphonic Band aims to promote great composers creating symphonic works inspired by Estepona. The jury, composed of renowned professionals, selected Hugo Chinesta based on his musical vision of the city. Chinesta, born in Aldaia in 1977, is a distinguished composer and conductor, with various awards and recognitions to his name. The concert program will feature works by Chinesta, including the premiere of ‘Estepona, the City of Flowers’, along with other compositions. It promises to be a memorable musical experience celebrating the beauty and traditions of Estepona.
