The Casa de Las Tejerinas will host Aga Strauss’s latest painting exhibition titled ‘Transformations on the Horizon’, showcasing the artist’s evolution and unique talent in expressing emotions through colors and light. Aga, a Polish artist residing on the Costa del Sol for nearly two decades, will open the exhibition in Gallery 2 at the Plaza de las Flores today. Visitors can explore her works until September 23, with free entry on Tuesdays through Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Aga Strauss, also known as Agnieszka Rozek-Strauss, was born in Zgorzelec, Poland, in 1973. Her passion for art started at a young age, leading her to pursue studies in Industrial and Jewelry Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. After moving to Andalusia in 2006, Aga dedicated herself to painting and drawing, using her art as a form of self-expression and exploration. She is a member of APLAMA and teaches art classes at the Mijas Arts Center, incorporating elements of art therapy. Aga has exhibited her works in various galleries and institutions in Spain and the Netherlands, leaving a mark with her fearless and inspiring creations.
