An upcoming event on May 10 will allow neighbors and groups in Cancelada to sell gently used items from their homes. Registration can be done at the local Mayor’s Office, and donations can be made through bizum at 620 569 004. The City Council of Estepona has announced that Cancelada will host a Solidarity Storage Market to support the association Los Pasos de Noa. Deputy mayor Begoña Ortiz highlighted the success of this activity, where participants can set up stalls to sell items that can still be useful. Items for sale must be in good condition, and participants are responsible for setting up their own stands. The registration fee is 10 euros, with all proceeds going to the cause. Registration deadline is May 9 at the Mayor’s Office. The market will run from 10:00 to 18:00 at Plaza José Vázquez Espinosa. The day will feature performances from various dance academies and a musical performance by Ana Vega. Those wishing to donate can do so through bizum. The association aims to raise awareness about ‘Spinal Muscular Atrophy’, a genetic disease for which there is currently no cure.
