As a result of adverse weather conditions, the St. Patrick’s Day party planned for tomorrow, Friday, March 14, in Estepona has been called off. This event, part of the Ireland Day festivities, organized by the City Council as part of the ‘Sharing Cultures’ initiative to foster the integration of foreign residents, will not take place. Begoña Ortiz, Deputy Mayor of the Extraradio area, cited the rain forecast and the outdoor location on the Paseo Marítimo as the reasons for this decision. However, some pubs in the town will still celebrate Irish Day over the weekend, offering special deals to customers. Cooper’s Barrel on Raphael Street 5, Fergusson’s Estepona on Avenida España 168, Golden Corner on Adolfo Suárez de Figueroa Street 8, Healy’s Irish Bar & Restaurant in the Marina, and Rory’s Irish Pub at the El Pilar hotel are among the venues participating in the festivities.
