An agreement was reached between the Consistory and the soccer club to provide free tickets to elderly residents. The Municipal Geriatric Office will distribute tickets to participants of the Active Aging Program, promoting socialization, physical activity, and emotional well-being. Seniors in the program will have the opportunity to attend CD Estepona home games at no cost, thanks to this collaboration. The club will allocate a set number of free tickets, ensuring equal access for all participants. Additional activities, such as stadium tours and player meetings, may also be included to enhance the experience. This initiative, starting again after the summer hiatus, not only allows seniors to enjoy soccer matches and join local fans but also highlights the club’s social responsibility towards the community. It aims to promote inclusion, active aging, and participation in recreational activities, ultimately improving well-being and reducing isolation. Furthermore, it encourages intergenerational interaction within a sports setting, fostering values of coexistence and respect.
