The summer concert series of the Estepona Municipal Band will come to an end this Sunday with a themed program titled “Music and Film: A Night in the Wild West.” The concert is scheduled for August 23 at 9:00 p.m. at Plaza del Reloj and will be conducted by Maestro José Antonio López Camacho, the principal and artistic director of the band. Featuring iconic Western movie soundtracks like ‘Silverado,’ ‘Bonanza,’ ‘A Fistful of Dollars,’ and ‘The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly,’ the event promises a night filled with the aesthetic of the Wild West. Established in 1940, the Estepona Band is one of the oldest in the country and has been continuously performing for over 75 years. The City Council awarded them the City’s Gold Medal on their 75th anniversary. Don’t miss the closing concert on Sunday!
