A multi-sports court, bio-healthy equipment, and two adapted playgrounds are planned for the new green space. The infrastructure work for roads, lighting, and signage is already finished, with the focus now shifting to installing the irrigation system and landscaping. Estepona Town Hall reports that the 20,000 square meter public park in La Boladilla is halfway through its construction. Earthmoving is done, and soon the automatic irrigation system will be installed, along with landscaping and other planned actions. The developer in charge has completed the urbanization work after obtaining the necessary permits. The park will feature naturalized meadows, Mediterranean plants, and 300 leafy and ornamental trees, enhancing the existing greenery. It will also include a multi-sports court, a bio-healthy circuit, and two playgrounds with inclusive equipment for children with disabilities. The project involves creating pedestrian paths with printed concrete and using polymers in the soil for environmental benefits, reducing water consumption by up to 50 percent.
