A new feature is that socio-educational care for one and two-year-old Andalusian schoolchildren will be free. The City Council of Estepona has announced the start of the admission process for the First Cycle of Early Childhood Education in Municipal Nursery Schools El Nido, El Mar, Los Pitufos, Calancha, and Cancelada for children aged 0 to 3 for the academic year 2026/27. A total of 377 places will be offered for the next academic year, with specific quotas for different age groups. Registration forms can be downloaded from the specified website or obtained at the Town Hall. The deadline for submissions is April 30. The Nursery Schools provide socio-educational attention from 07:30 to 17:00, with morning and afternoon classes, as well as a canteen service. Families can also apply for subsidies along with the admission process. Various activities are carried out throughout the year, including Family School sessions and the introduction of English language classes.
