The Estepona City Council’s Municipal Low-Cost Parking Plan has been honored at the 21st edition of the Randstad Foundation Awards for its efforts in promoting the inclusion of people with disabilities in the labor market. This initiative, in collaboration with APRONA, has led to the hiring of over 40 individuals with disabilities to operate the municipal parking network. The awards ceremony, where Estepona was named a finalist in the Best Inclusion Initiative category, took place at the Real Casino de Madrid. Mayor José María García Urbano expressed gratitude for the recognition, highlighting the success of the employment program for people with disabilities. The partnership between the City Council and APRONA has resulted in the employment of 43 individuals with disabilities, contributing to the city’s goal of creating a more inclusive and sustainable urban environment.
