A ceremony held by Estepona’s municipal government celebrated the achievements of top high school students from six secondary schools in the city. The initiative, supported by a budget of 12,000 euros, aims to honor students who have excelled academically in their final year of high school. The mayor, José María García Urbano, commended the students for their hard work, dedication, and commitment, emphasizing that talent combined with effort and responsibility can lead to great success. He encouraged the students to continue pursuing their dreams with determination, believing that this recognition is just the beginning of a path filled with opportunities. Awards totaling 12,000 euros were distributed among the winners from IES Mar de Alborán, IES Monterroso, IES Mediterráneo, Patrocinio San José School, Atalaya School, and Diocesano Juan XXIII School. The selection process was based on the average grades of students throughout the Bachillerato cycle, resulting in the recognition of 21 outstanding individuals.
