The upcoming episode of a popular cooking show, scheduled to air on Monday, May 18 at 10.50 p.m. on La 1 and RTVE Play, will feature Estepona as the backdrop for an outdoor cooking challenge. Estepona City Council has joined forces with the show to showcase the city in this special episode, filmed recently at Playa del Padrón. The cooking competition, a collaboration between RTVE and Shine Iberia, will highlight the region’s culinary traditions and cultural heritage. Contestants will be tasked with creating dishes using local ingredients at Sublim Beach’s kitchen, under the guidance of ‘MasterChef’ judges. Actress Raquel Meroño, winner of ‘MasterChef Celebrity 5’, will assist the judges in team formation and menu design, focusing on technique and locally sourced products. The final dishes will be served to 80 guests, including local dignitaries and loyal restaurant patrons.
