The Estepona City Council has officially approved the contract for the development of two additional paddle tennis courts in the Nueva Atalaya area, situated on the eastern outskirts of the city. These new courts, to be built by Equipamientos Deportivos, S.A., will be seamlessly incorporated into the existing sports facilities, including a paddle tennis court and a multi-sports court for indoor soccer, basketball, and other activities. With an investment of 124,503 euros, the construction is set to take three months and involves groundwork, court construction, and installation of essential services. This initiative is part of the council’s ongoing efforts to enhance recreational infrastructure in suburban areas, ensuring equitable access to sports for improved community health and well-being. By prioritizing physical activity, the council aims to foster a healthy lifestyle, bolster social unity, and promote sustainable growth in the municipality.
