The program ‘Know your environment, know your province’ will be launched by the Youth Delegation in 2026, providing free trips and tours for individuals aged 18 to 30. The goal is to introduce the youth to the natural, cultural, and heritage aspects of Estepona and the province of Malaga. Five main itineraries are included, featuring hiking, cultural visits, and educational activities in natural settings such as the Nicola path, the Castor river, Sierra Bermeja, the Caminito del Rey, and various museums in Malaga. Around 300 participants are expected, with a focus on gender equality, inclusion of LGTBI diversity, and individuals with disabilities. Specialized coordinators and informative materials will be provided for each excursion, promoting environmental conservation, healthy leisure habits, and social values. The initiative aims to engage young individuals in the protection and appreciation of their heritage, while also promoting environmental awareness and sustainable practices.
