Estepona to be the venue for the ‘Al Ándalus Basket CUP’26’ basketball training tournament during Easter

From March 30 to April 1, the El Carmen and La Lobilla indoor sports facilities will host the tournament. Estepona City Council has announced that the town will be at the heart of grassroots basketball from March 30 to April 1, as it hosts the ‘Al Ándalus Basket CUP Easter Edition, Estepona 2026’ training tournament. This event will take place at the El Carmen, La Lobilla, and EDUFY pavilion in Sabinillas, bringing together 600 athletes from various regions of Andalusia and Tenerife. The participants will be accommodated at Hotel Ona Valle Romano. The tournament will feature players from 8 training categories – 4 male and 4 female – including fry, child, cadet, and junior, ranging from 11 to 18 years old. It will be a blend of competition, camaraderie, and love for basketball. The matches are scheduled as follows: on Monday, March 30, games will be played in morning and afternoon slots from 09:00 to 21:00. Matches on Tuesday, March 31, and Wednesday, April 1, will run from 9:00 to 15:00. The trophy presentation will take place on Wednesday, April 1, following the conclusion of the tournament matches around 15:00.
