During the La Vuelta event on September 11, the City Council will distribute 3,000 commemorative T-shirts to residents of Estepona. The mayor, José María García Urbano, revealed the special T-shirt designed to mark the city’s hosting of the third-to-last stage of this renowned cycling race. The T-shirts will be given out for free at three different locations in the city starting at noon on the event day. Yellow T-shirts will be for volunteers, while red ones will be for the general public, adding vibrancy to the streets. The front of the T-shirt displays the event details and logos, while the back showcases Estepona’s identity. Residents are encouraged to wear the T-shirts and enjoy the historic sports day. Additionally, a ‘Cycling Meetup’ will take place on the same day, offering participants a chance to ride a 23-kilometer route similar to the race route, emphasizing the city’s passion for cycling and healthy lifestyles.
