Estepona’s 13th Summer Camp Welcomed Former National Team Coach Vicente del Bosque

Today, former national football team coach Vicente del Bosque paid a visit to his summer camp, now in its 13th year. Held at the ‘Francisco Muñoz Pérez’ municipal stadium, the sports event has been a favorite among young people looking for summer fun over the last three weeks of July, concluding on Friday, July 31. Del Bosque, accompanied by City Councilwoman Susana Aragón, highlighted the camp’s focus on promoting a healthy lifestyle through a mix of mental development, sports, and nutrition. He underlined the importance of values like friendship, camaraderie, and hard work in sports, essential for youth education. Del Bosque also expressed gratitude towards municipal officials for their continuous support and praised Estepona’s excellent sports facilities. Councilwoman Susana Aragón thanked Del Bosque for choosing their city to host the Summer Camp, highlighting his role as an inspiration for the participants in fostering competitiveness and human values like communication and camaraderie.
