The I Patchwork Encounter, organized by Mercería Lola in collaboration with the City Council, will be held at the Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos on June 6 from 12:00 to 19:00. Entry is free for all attendees. Estepona City Council has announced that the event will feature three main areas: a work area, an exhibition area, and a catering area. Registration is open by calling 649 732 491 until all 100 spots are filled. The registration fee is 50 euros, which includes a material kit, lunch, gifts, and raffles. Additionally, there will be a solidarity bar managed by the Association ‘Paula and the Factory of Medulla’. Patchwork, also known as ‘patchwork’, is a sewing technique that involves combining fabric scraps to create decorative designs. It is a creative and sustainable practice that promotes recycling and mental well-being. Joining patchwork groups can also provide a sense of community and social connection.
