The implementation of 35 new climate control units is underway in Estepona’s schools, with an investment of 64,000 euros, aimed at enhancing classroom comfort throughout the year. The City Council is determined to complete the installations before the upcoming school year, ensuring that students and teachers can enjoy the benefits from day one. Schools such as Valeriano López, Víctor de la Serna, Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Santo Tomás de Aquino, Gloria Fuertes, and Ramón García, as well as preschools like Los Pitufos, El Mar, and Calancha, will all benefit from this initiative. This project is part of a broader plan to provide adequate temperature and comfort conditions in schools, following the successful completion of the initial phase, which saw the installation of fifty units. The City Council’s commitment to improving educational facilities is further demonstrated through ongoing projects, including the renovation of restrooms, playgrounds, sports fields, and more. By enhancing safety and functionality in educational spaces, the council aims to create an environment that meets the needs of the educational community.
