Neo-professional fights will follow from 6:00 p.m. onwards, leading up to the professional bouts at 9:00 p.m. Estepona City Council has announced that the Golden Series Muay Thai Evening, organized by the Golden Boy Muay Thai Sports Club of Estepona, will take place this Saturday, February 28. The event is supported by the Andalusian Federation and the Spanish Federation of KB (Kickboxing) and Muay Thai (FAKM), with collaboration from the local government. Luis Gil, councilman for Sports, expressed the popularity of the competition among the public, making it a must-attend for fans of the sport. The mayor praised the Golden Boy club for their dedication to training athletes, many of whom have achieved top rankings in Spain and Andalusia. Dario Gil, president of the C.D Golden Boy Muay Thai, outlined the schedule for the evening, starting with minors’ fights at 3:00 p.m., followed by Golden Series neo-professional fights at 6:00 p.m., and concluding with The Revolution professional fights at 9:00 p.m. The event is expected to feature prominent muay thai and k-1 stars, with key matchups including the Champion of Spain, Junior, and Juan G.P facing off against WMO Champion Joaquin Romero and local fighter Abraham Reposo. Hamada, a renowned muay thai athlete, will take on José David from Team Dragon Chiclana, while Daniel Souza competes for a Goden Series belt against Andres Lima. Additionally, 6 Ciudad de Estepona trophies will be up for grabs in both muay thai and K-1.
