The City Council of Estepona plans to enhance its network of complimentary outdoor sports facilities by constructing two additional paddle tennis courts in the Nueva Atalaya area. This initiative underscores the city’s dedication to encouraging physical activity and wellness, by offering accessible sports venues for all locals to enjoy. The upcoming courts, situated on a 400-square meter plot, will complement the existing sports amenities in the vicinity, which currently encompass a paddle tennis court and a multi-sports court accommodating indoor soccer, basketball, and other activities. Through this expansion, the Council aims to cater to the rising demand for paddle tennis spaces in Estepona, while enhancing the overall sports landscape. With a budget exceeding 90,000 euros, the project is set to commence soon and is expected to be completed within three months of its approval. The addition of these new courts not only broadens the range of sporting opportunities but also revitalizes the area and fosters social inclusion through sports. This endeavor aligns with the Council’s objective to equip suburban areas with contemporary and practical infrastructure, ensuring top-notch facilities across Estepona for public access to sports, promoting better health and well-being. By emphasizing physical activity as a vital component of a healthy lifestyle, the municipality is furthering social unity and sustainable progress.
