Renovation work at CEIP Santo Tomás de Aquino includes upgrading plumbing, sewage, electrical, and ventilation systems in six bathrooms. The project, with a tender budget of 114,279.28 euros, aims to enhance the condition of the facilities, addressing deficiencies due to age. The renovation involves complete demolition, flooring, tiling, woodwork, and installation of new fixtures and utilities. Additionally, new suspended ceilings and forced-air ventilation systems will be put in place. The City Council’s commitment to improving educational facilities also extends to replacing outdoor walkway flooring at the school. This year, a significant investment of over 800,000 euros is being made to enhance school spaces, ensuring safety and functionality for students and the educational community. Major renovation projects are underway at 18 educational facilities in Estepona, including elementary schools and preschools. Furthermore, the Climate Control Plan includes an investment of 130,000 euros for the installation of air conditioning and heating units in classrooms.
