The cultural program for the Library of Contemporary Cultures for the last quarter of 2026 has been unveiled by the Estepona City Council. The program features a diverse range of disciplines and direct interaction between creators and the public. Literature, film, poetry, music, visual arts, philosophy, and workshops will once again be at the forefront, bringing together cultural figures such as writer and journalist Beatriz Moreno, journalist and writer Manuel Jabois, flamenco dancer Alberto Sellés, filmmaker and artist Martí Madula, philosopher Miguel Palma Molina, poet Violeta Gil, and writer Enrique Juncosa, among others. The program will kick off with film screenings in September, followed by literature and poetry events in October. Dance workshops led by Alberto Sellés, film screenings featuring Todd Solondz and Xavier Dolan, and philosophy lectures by Miguel Palma Molina will be highlights of the program. The fall lineup will also include writing workshops, book club discussions, and music concerts, culminating in the celebration of the Library’s second anniversary in November. The program aims to continue promoting contemporary culture as an accessible space for all audiences, fostering dialogue and participation in various artistic disciplines.
