The Santo Tomás de Aquino Sports Complex’s municipal pool will open to the public and summer course students until September 6. Estepona City Council has announced the opening of the pool on Saturday, June 20. Luis Gil, the councilmember overseeing the Sports Department, stated that the pool, with lifeguards on duty, will welcome the general public from Saturday onwards. Starting June 29, students enrolled in various swimming programs and activities like aqua aerobics and aqua gym can also enjoy the facility. Operating hours are Monday to Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., and weekends from 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., except on July 12 and 16. Entry fees are 1.5 euros for children and 2.5 euros for adults, with season passes available for purchase. Tickets can be bought online through reservapista.estepona.es. Lifeguard and safety services will be provided by the same company overseeing beach security, ensuring a safe environment for swimmers and monitoring water quality.
