The Estepona City Council has announced that registration is available for the XXVIII Triathlon ‘Villa de Estepona’ 2026, set to take place on June 7 with an anticipated 240 athletes. This long-standing competition holds significance within the local sports community and attracts both professional and amateur athletes. The triathlon will follow a Sprint format, featuring a 750-meter swim at La Rada beach, a 20-kilometer bike ride through the city, and a 5-kilometer run in Estepona. Organized in collaboration with the Provincial Council of Malaga, the City of Estepona, and Estepona Triathlon Sports Club, the event is supported by the Andalusian Triathlon Federation (Malaga Delegation). Registration will close on June 1 at 23:59, accessible online at www.triatlonandalucia.org. The registration fee is 30 € for federated participants and 40 € for non-federated individuals. Prizes will be awarded to the top three male and female finishers in various categories, with medals for winners in individual categories and Paralympic triathlon.
