The opening of registration is scheduled for September 7, and the classes are set to commence on October 5, featuring a diverse selection of courses suitable for individuals of all ages. Estepona City Council has revealed that registration for the 2026/2027 Culture Courses and Workshops will kick off on September 7. These programs will provide a wide array of disciplines catering to people of all age groups. Registration will be open until all available spaces are filled. The classes are slated to kick off on October 5, 2026, and will continue until the end of June 2027, on a quarterly basis. Interested individuals can register via email by sending their application to cursoscultura@estepona.es, or in person at City Hall. In-person registration will be open from September 7 to 11, between 9:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. An online appointment must be scheduled beforehand through the municipal appointment scheduling platform. Available spots in the various courses and workshops will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis until the capacity is reached. Macarena Diánez, the councilmember overseeing Culture, Festivals, and Folk Traditions, emphasized the support initiatives offered by City Hall to specific groups. Residents registered in Estepona who are in a more vulnerable situation may receive a 50% discount on course fees. Students at the Estepona Adult Education Center, music theory students enrolled in piano classes, youth correspondents accredited by the Municipal Youth Office, and students from large families are also eligible for this 50% discount. Moreover, a 25% discount is applicable to those enrolled in multiple courses offered by the Municipal Department of Culture. All courses and workshops must be paid for in advance on a quarterly basis after completing the registration process. Discounts cannot be combined and should be requested at the reception desk once the applicant is admitted to the relevant workshop. The program of courses and workshops provided by the Municipal Department of Culture for the 2026–2027 academic year encompasses various disciplines such as Theater with Juan Jesús Luque, Ballroom dancing with Marivà RodrÃguez, Drawing and Painting with RocÃo GarÃn, Bobbin Lace with Inmaculada Chacón, English with Juan Sergio Picardo, Flamenco Guitar with Paco Javier Jimeno, Percussion with Chico Fargas, Music Theory and Piano with JoaquÃn Castellano, Belly Dancing and Latin Dance with Paulina Partal in Courses in Cancelada, Bobbin Lace with Inmaculada Chacón, Arts and Crafts with MarÃa Eugenia Espinosa, and Design and Patternmaking with MarÃa Eugenia Espinosa.
