In preparation for the 19th stage of La Vuelta a España this Friday, Estepona City Council has organized a special security and traffic plan. The race will finish at the summit of Peñas Blancas-Los Reales, passing through the city center. Various municipal departments are working on beautifying urban infrastructure and implementing a coordinated mobility and safety plan. Temporary road closures and traffic restrictions will be in place between 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., with the peloton expected to pass through the city center between 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m. Residents are advised to remove parked vehicles along the route and plan trips in advance. Municipal schools will end the school day at 1:00 p.m. to facilitate mobility. Efforts are being made to enhance green spaces along the route and make technical preparations for the race’s safety. The live broadcast is expected to promote tourism in Estepona. Additionally, 3,000 T-shirts will be distributed for free to mark the event’s arrival at three locations in the city. Parque Vuelta, a Fan Zone, will be set up on Avenida España.
