Summer Sports Campaign 2025: Participation of a Thousand People in Various Activities

The Summer Sports Campaign 2025, organized by the City Council of Estepona, took place from June 30 to September 5. The campaign, led by the Municipal Sports Delegation (DMD), saw around 1,000 participants daily, filling 92% of the available spots. Participants engaged in sports sessions led by municipal instructors at various locations, including the municipal sports center of St. Thomas Aquinas, Cancelada sports facilities, Free Wave Sports Center, and Polideportivo El Carmen. Activities offered included Aquaerobics, Aquamayores, Chess, Rhythmic Gymnastics, Karate, Swimming, and Pilates. Swimming was the most popular activity, followed by Pilates. Additionally, fifty swimming students excelled in the XXXIX edition of the Provincial Swimming Circuit 2025, with an awards ceremony scheduled for November 14 in Malaga. The Municipal Sports Schools Program EDM 2025/26 will commence classes on September 15, with over 2850 applications received for registrations.
