The MediEmos program, promoted by the Estepona City Council, aims to enhance school coexistence by teaching students negotiation strategies and peaceful conflict resolution techniques. Students at IES MediterrĂ¡neo will undergo 16 hours of training to become mediators, with the support of Horizonte Proyecto Hombre. The free program, funded by the municipal delegation of Youth, focuses on fostering dialogue, understanding, and cooperative attitudes to manage common conflicts like misunderstandings and communication difficulties. By promoting skills like active listening and empathy, MediEmos contributes to a safer and more respectful school environment. Through student participation and the implementation of mediation services, IES MediterrĂ¡neo is working towards a peaceful coexistence model based on dialogue and mutual respect.
