Accompanied by the president of the Association of Municipalities of the Western Costa del Sol, Manuel Cardeña, the mayor of Casares, Juan Luis Villalón, and representatives of the Costa del Sol Environmental Complex, the mayor of Estepona, José María García Urbano, visited the ongoing renovation project on the Camino de Los Pedregales. The project, managed by Urbaser, aims to enhance safety on the busy road connecting Estepona with Casares and the Environmental Complex. With a budget exceeding one and a half million euros, the project covers over 7 kilometers of road, focusing on optimizing the road surface and route operability. It also includes a new access point to the Environmental Complex for heavy vehicles, featuring a waiting lane to improve traffic flow. The Los Pedregales Road spans Estepona and Casares, serving as a crucial industrial link between the two municipalities. The renovation works, expected to last two months, play a vital role in modernizing this key infrastructure for regional mobility.
