The refurbishment project, which encompasses the overhaul of pavements, sewage and water supply networks, and the introduction of new green spaces, is reaching its final stages in Estepona. With a budget of 468,952 euros and a timeline of four months, the Estepona City Council expects the renovations on Cristóbal Colón and María de Maeztu Streets to be finished soon. This endeavor has focused on a total area of 1,841 square meters, aiming to modernize and enhance the functionality of the public space. The initiative includes a complete revamp of the pavement and street amenities, along with the modernization of essential infrastructures like sewage and water networks. Furthermore, the rainwater collection system has been upgraded through the installation of new connections and scuppers. In consideration of the Aprona Foundation users, the remodeling prioritizes accessibility and comfort, creating an inclusive environment for individuals with diverse needs. Additionally, the project features new decorative elements such as green spaces, a fountain, and a drinking fountain, enriching the area for the benefit of the community.
