The lineup includes titles such as ‘El Niceto y la Leoncia’, ‘Ay Carmela’, and ‘La Consulta’. Through this festival, the GMT ‘Farándula’ seeks to promote, enjoy, share, and establish theater as a vital component of Estepona’s cultural landscape. The festival kicks off on Friday, October 10, with the play ‘Hora de Visita’ by J.L. Alonso de Santos. Admission is 5 euros per day or 20 euros for all five days. The program includes a variety of plays by renowned authors such as José Cedena, Stella Manaut, and José Sanchis Sinisterra, among others. GMT ‘Farándula’, founded in 1983, has a rich history of delivering diverse theatrical productions. Over the years, the group has been recognized with several awards, including Best Play and Best Female Interpretation at the XV Certamen de Campillos. The group’s commitment to excellence has also been acknowledged at national theater contests, further solidifying their reputation in the theatrical community.
