Estepona City Council intends to open bidding for the comprehensive overhaul soon, aiming to upgrade public services and ensure a safer and more usable street. Connecting Fraile Street and María Espinosa Street, the project will modernize underground and surface infrastructure, replacing water supply and sewer systems to meet current needs. The pavement will be completely renewed to enhance overall road conditions, traffic flow, and safety. Accessibility standards will be integrated to create a more functional and safer urban space, aligning with regional regulations. This initiative is part of the larger “Estepona, Garden of the Costa del Sol” effort, which has already renovated over 130 streets in the town center, emphasizing the modernization of urban infrastructure and the improvement of public services, road safety, and street accessibility.
