The concert showcasing film music performed by women is scheduled for Thursday, July 23, at 10:00 p.m. The Estepona City Council has announced that the Botanical Garden and Orchidarium will be the venue for the free concert titled ‘Women’s Soundtracks—The Essence of Woman’ on the mentioned date and time. Spanning eight decades of film music, the event will feature iconic songs from movies such as ‘Suspiros de España’ from 1939 to ‘Aladdin’ from 2019. Local artists like flamenco singer Ana Fargas, singer-songwriter Virginia Alexandre, actress Juana Escribano, Estepona-based actress Candela Vergara, and singer La Negra Mayté will bring these songs to life. The ‘Ocean Danza y Acrobacia’ School, led by Laura and Sara Perea, will also perform at the show. Attendees will receive a complimentary copy of the album ‘Esencia de Mujer,’ released by the Unicornio Cultural Association last year, while stocks last.
