Featuring a collection of 24 photographs, the exhibition titled ‘Visible’ showcases recreations of iconic films and artistic masterpieces. It will be accessible to the public from June 18 to July 1 at Room 2 of Casa de Las Tejerinas in Plaza de las Flores. The Estepona City Council has announced that the exhibition will display artwork crafted by members of vulnerable communities, including interpretations of films like ‘The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly’ and ‘The Godfather’, as well as renowned works such as ‘The Mona Lisa’ and ‘The Last Supper’. These pieces are part of the charity calendars for 2024 and 2025, respectively. The Botika Association, headquartered in Casares, was established in April 2014 with the goal of enhancing the well-being of vulnerable groups and rural residents. Their initiatives include health education for the community and therapy programs for vulnerable individuals at a Day Therapy Center. Noteworthy activities organized by the association include the annual ‘Solidarity Calendar’, which integrates artistic and literary creations from the professional team and collaborators. The Therapeutic Center users play a central role in this project, actively participating and contributing to its success. The exhibition aims to raise awareness about the marginalized groups and the valuable contributions made by both the individuals and the supportive team. It also serves as a means to generate funds for educational and therapeutic programs. The exhibition will be open until July 1, operating from Tuesday to Friday between 9:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., and on Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with free entry.
